With your support, I was able to purchase supplies to create charging stations in my classroom. These charging stations have allowed students to ensure their devices are fully charged and cut back on their worry of there not being enough chargers for everyone.\r\nThroughout our day, students use their devices for their independent remediation practice, UFLI word building and spelling, and now, checking the weather during our calendar time. Students also use their devices for district benchmark assessments and will eventually use them for standardized testing. In this day and age, iPads and tablets are used more often than not in classrooms for so many purposes. When students don't have a device that's charged, it can take away from their learning. These chargers have been exactly what we needed. Without donors like you, our school year would not have started off as well supplied as it was. With the supplies I received, students were able to have coloring materials for their back to school projects. I was also able to get some much needed supplies to set up our classroom. I have also used items, like the cardstock and laminating pouches, to create classroom resources and games that the students have loved using and playing with so far. Students loved seeing the new boxes arrive as our project materials arrived. They enjoyed seeing what new materials were in each box and getting to use some of them.\r\nWith our supplies, students will continue to have access to coloring supplies and I will continue to create new resources and learning games for students to practice new skills they are learning in class. We have been learning about even and odd numbers so students have enjoyed getting to play sorting games that were created with some of the resources we received through this project. With cold and flu season coming, we will be well stocked with Clorox wipes to help fight germs and keep our class clean.
