They are loving the new materials as they get used every day. \r\n\r\nOur class starts each day with a \"great start station\". This is a calm activity that students can use to start the day versus coming in and immedetly getting started on academics. I use this approach in my class to help students get off to a \"great start\" instead of facing what could be challenging work to get them started. Some of the games, building blocks, stress balls, and puzzles have been a very fun and engaging way for students to begin their day. \r\n\r\nWe recently started a project researching animals. Students are writing their own books and creating a model of their animals. The markers, pipe cleaners, and other craft supply has been so beneficial for this project and made it really enjoyable for them. \r\n\r\nMany of the other materials are to help with organization and to replace some needed items we use regularly. Each and every item is being used.
