We can combine materials, like our number flash cards combined with counters, they love to count as they trace the number. Many have gained more numbers the more we present this to them! I was able to purchase floor cushions for my whole class. We use these cushions during our independent reading time. The students are held accountable for their independent reading by filling out a form about what they have read. \r\nI am looking forward to seeing how much my students have grown throughout the year in reading.
