The students are already using and learning with the materials that were donated! Except for the snack, which are all gone now, the items will be helpful for this year and beyond!\r\n The magnetic boards are a hit! I was surprised that the writing wasn't just plain black but rainbow colors. Very cool. The students love to use these ton write their n letters or words. Of course, they also just love to draw. The tactile feel of moving the magnetic pen on a textured surface helps to reinforce the skill. \r\n The Play Doh is always fun. The kids use it to \"make snakes\" that can be formed into letters. They can then make the letters to spell words. This is extremely useful in learning letter and teaching HFW. They use Play Doh in several other activities as well. The Play Doh mats are helpful in containing the mess. The kids love Tom use the cutters when they have some free play time. \r\n Once again, I want to say thank you for the help in funding my project. Having extra tools to help with literacy skills makes a difference.
