This project arrived just before school began for my new kindergartners. The bins are being used to store materials that are specific to our units of study. This allows the materials to be rotated in and out easily throughout the year. \r\n\r\nThe new items have been added to calming areas in our classroom. Students are learning to advocate for their own breaks and often stop to take a few moments to quietly watch one of the liquid snow globes or play with a maze. I am so thankful to have the resources to help teach my students about balance and taking care of themselves! We are off to a fantastic start this year! The colors are bright and engaging and there is so much excitement each time a project is finished and given to the creator to take home as a keepsake. \r\n\r\nWith the donated filament, I was not only able to catch up with all of the designs from our 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders, but to finally share the process with kindergarten students. We walked through the design process together, and each student was encouraged to type their name and choose a shape to go with it.
