Unboxing the equipment made their goal feel real—they went from discussing food waste in theory to feeling like true change-makers. Each day after lunch, our student team sorts untouched fruits, packaged snacks, and sealed drinks, storing them safely in our new 4.5 cu. ft. fridge. When it is time for distribution, they pack the two XXL coolers to capacity to transport large loads of perishable food directly to our local pantry partner without breaking the cold chain.\r\n\r\nSeeing the fridge filled and loading those giant coolers for delivery showed our students the immediate, tangible impact of their hard work. Looking ahead, our student leaders are using our daily rescue logs to track how quickly the fridge fills each week. In upcoming lessons, they will turn this data into visual charts to share during school assemblies, inspiring their peers to reduce food waste and support our cafeteria rescue station. Color printing allows us to bring diagrams, interactive learning maps, differentiated literacy materials, and student-created artwork to life. Instead of looking at faded black-and-white printouts, my students can now interact with visually rich tools that highlight key details, clarify complex diagrams, and keep their focus sharp during independent and group study.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part of this new addition for my students has been seeing their own work and learning materials come alive in vivid color. There was an immediate wave of enthusiasm the moment we used our new supplies for the first time—they couldn't believe how crisp and engaging their learning packets looked! Being able to print in color has given them a newfound sense of pride in their work, especially when displaying their completed projects around our classroom gallery wall.\r\n\r\nThis project has made a particularly powerful difference for my visual learners and students who benefit from visual supports and color-coded organizational cues. They reached out last year about how much they wanted to play pickle ball. The new nets let us set up multiple courts so every student stays active. This will also help for staff wellness allowing staff to access the courts before and after school. \r\nThe gator skin balls are soft, durable and safe for all ages. Students feel more confident throwing and catching these balls without a fear of getting hurt. They also provide with a safe option when we play soccer in the gym. \r\nYour kindness brings so much joy and energy to our gym everyday.
