Unfortunately, as you know, this project began before the school closures brought on by Covid-19. By the time this project was able to launch, Covid had taken over and we were unable to to complete the project as planned. Shortly thereafter, the state voted to close our school in order to implement a new charter school program in its place. The school's name still exists, but none of the staff are the same and the management is by a new organization.\r\n\r\n In the intervening years, I have used the equipment provided to help the school's I've been fortunate enough to work with provide sound to school events, broadcast youth basketball games, and more. None of those experiences would have been the same with the equipment you helped fund. \r\n\r\n I continue to look for ways to re-introduce the ideas behind this project, but recent increased focus on state testing and outcomes have limited such out of the box thinking. I remain optimistic that the needs of students will outweigh the conservative viewpoint that only scores matter and that I will be able to fully realize the project and its goals.
