They provide students with an easy and accessible way to listen to stories and songs, helping them build both reading comprehension and listening skills in a format that's fun, interactive, and developmentally appropriate. For many of my learners, especially those who are still developing their independent reading abilities, this resource has been a game changer. They feel empowered to explore stories on their own terms, which has boosted both their confidence and love of reading.\r\n\r\nWatching my students grab a Toniebox, and explore a story or sing along to a favorite tune, is such a rewarding sight. The boxes have allowed us to create inclusive, differentiated literacy stations where every child can engage meaningfully with literature. This makes it much more likely for art work to arrive home and strengthens the home-school connection for our scholars. \r\n\r\nSince receiving your generous donation our class has gotten to explore watercolors, tempera paint, glitter glue, and more! I was also able to start an art club to provide more creative opportunities for our schools budding artists! As this is our first year for an official middle school, we are severely lacking in age-appropriate sensory tools.
