The weather can be crazy so we are always looking for lotion to keep our screen moisturized. We \"conveniently\" get stomach aches before a test so the mints help. We also need band aids to cover our pimples and we can't use it as an excuse to go to the nurse.\r\n You generosity has helped solve of the little problems that happen every day that can prevent my kids from learning. It is the little things that can have such a big impact on my students. They know when they come to our classroom, they will have all the supplies they will need to complete their assignments.\r\n It is also the care items that mean a lot. Even at the middle school level, just knowing they can get a pencil, paper, band-aid, or throat drop matters. If they are not comfortable or think they are missing something their peers have, they have trouble concentrating and paying attention. That effects their learning and will care with them down the line.\r\n These supplies helped all of my classes make charts that were related to percents and working with a budget. They totally surprised me by getting involved with their project and having them hang in the hall for the whole school to see. My students were ecstatic when they came into the classroom and saw the various seating options they could choose from. They especially love the black saucer chair during their free time!\r\n\r\nHaving options of seating when learning gives my students options and helps with making decisions. The wobble chairs help the students improve their core muscle function and balance, as well as their focus on the lesson.
