I am incredibly grateful for your kindness and for believing in my students and our classroom. Because of you, my hardworking, creative students now have access to engaging resources that help make learning meaningful, interactive, and fun.\r\n\r\nI am so proud of my students. They show up each day curious, eager, and ready to grow. This project was designed to honor that enthusiasm by providing games, essential classroom supplies, and targeted practice materials that reinforce key skills in a way that keeps students motivated and confident. Your support has helped us do exactly that.\r\n\r\nThe board games and digital games included in this project have already made a positive impact. These resources encourage hands-on learning, collaboration, and puzzle solving while building important academic and social skills. Whether students are practicing math facts, working through strategy games with peers, or collaborating to solve challenges, they are learning how to think critically, communicate effectively, and persevere through challenges. Best of all, they are enjoying the learning process while doing it.\r\n\r\nThe Teachers Pay Teachers gift card has been especially valuable. It allows us to go beyond the textbook and access high-quality review games and learning activities that meet students where they are. These resources give me flexibility to target specific skills, provide engaging review opportunities, and keep lessons fresh and exciting—especially during times when student motivation can dip.\r\n\r\nThe practice workbooks included in this project help reinforce key skills and provide students with opportunities to feel successful. Having materials that allow students to practice at an appropriate level builds confidence and helps them see their own growth over time. These moments of success are incredibly important for maintaining motivation and a positive attitude toward learning.\r\n\r\nIn addition, the school supplies you helped provide are making a real difference in our day-to-day classroom routines. Replacing items we were beginning to run low on helps keep our classroom organized and running smoothly. The technology resources have also made our existing tools easier to use and more accessible, ensuring students can clearly hear instructions and fully participate in lessons.\r\n\r\nAs the end of the school year approaches, maintaining engagement can be a challenge. This project was designed to help overcome those \"end-of-the-year blues\" by keeping learning interactive, exciting, and joyful. Even small motivators—like candy used intentionally and sparingly—help encourage effort, celebrate progress, and keep students excited to show up and do their best.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, your generosity sends a powerful message to my students: that their learning matters and that people outside our classroom believe in them. That encouragement means more than you may realize.\r\n\r\nThank you again for supporting our classroom and helping make learning an enjoyable and meaningful experience for every student.","fullyFundedDate":1746480320383,"projectUrl":"project/supplies-smiles-and-success/9275492/","projectTitle":"Supplies, Smiles, and Success","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Reeves","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3352692"},{"teacherId":3352692,"projectId":9326727,"letterContent":"Thank you for your incredible generosity and support of our DonorsChoose project. Because of you, our students now have access to a Mac Mini that will truly transform how they learn, create, and share their ideas. Your investment is already making a lasting impact on our classroom, and we are deeply grateful for your belief in our students and their potential.\r\n\r\nOur students are passionate creators, and this project allows them to take their digital storytelling to the next level. With the addition of the Mac Mini, students can now explore professional-grade video editing software and elevate the quality of our school news broadcasts and creative media projects. What was once limited by basic tools has now expanded into a space where students can plan, edit, revise, and polish their work using the same types of technology used in real-world media production.\r\n\r\nBeyond improving production quality, the Mac Mini opens the door to new learning opportunities in computer animation, design, motion graphics, and digital media arts. Students are beginning to explore how images move, how sound and visuals work together, and how storytelling can be enhanced through thoughtful editing choices. These experiences spark curiosity and creativity while introducing students to career pathways many had never previously considered.\r\n\r\nOne of the most powerful aspects of this project is how it supports hands-on, authentic learning. Students are not simply consuming content—they are actively creating it. They collaborate in teams, assign roles, solve technical problems, and provide feedback to one another. This process builds communication skills, confidence, and a sense of ownership over their work. Students who may not always shine in traditional academic settings often thrive when given the opportunity to express themselves creatively through digital media.\r\n\r\nThis project also strongly supports 21st-century learning skills. Students are developing technological fluency, critical thinking, and project management skills as they work through the entire production process—from planning and scripting to editing and final presentation. They learn perseverance as they troubleshoot issues, revise drafts, and refine their work. These are skills that extend far beyond the classroom and will benefit them in future academic, career, and creative endeavors.\r\n\r\nThe Mac Mini has quickly become a centerpiece of innovation in our classroom. It has allowed us to create a more inclusive and engaging learning environment where students feel empowered to take risks, try new ideas, and grow as creators. Your support has helped us move from simply \"doing projects\" to truly experiencing what it means to work like digital professionals.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, your generosity sends a powerful message to our students: that their ideas matter, their creativity has value, and their learning is worth investing in. Knowing that people beyond our classroom care about their success motivates students to push themselves and take pride in their work.\r\n\r\nThank you for making this opportunity possible. Your support has given our students tools, confidence, and inspiration that will impact them long after this school year. We are incredibly thankful for your kindness and commitment to education.","fullyFundedDate":1754000518726,"projectUrl":"project/mac-mini-major-impact/9326727/","projectTitle":"Mac Mini, Major Impact","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Reeves","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3352692"},{"teacherId":3352692,"projectId":9627818,"letterContent":"Subject: Thank You for Supporting Our Classroom!\r\n\r\n\r\nThank you so much for supporting our DonorsChoose project. Simple items like dry erase markers, Post-it notes, and even Jolly Ranchers play a big role in keeping students focused, excited, and willing to challenge themselves during lessons.\r\n\r\nOne of the students' favorite resources is the headphones. They absolutely love listening to music while completing independent math work, and the storage bags will help us keep those headphones protected and usable throughout the year. Card games and Post-it notes have already made fact fluency practice more interactive and enjoyable, encouraging students to stay engaged while building essential skills.\r\n\r\nThe additional USB-C charging cords have also been incredibly helpful. They are already reducing Chromebook charging issues in the room, and have been very helpful this year!","fullyFundedDate":1757509082243,"projectUrl":"project/new-gear-for-a-new-year/9627818/","projectTitle":"New Gear for a New Year","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Reeves","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3352692"},{"teacherId":8923385,"projectId":8549859,"letterContent":"On behalf of my students and myself, I want to sincerely thank you for your generous support of our classroom piano project. Because of your kindness, we now have instruments that have truly transformed our music-making and opened new doors for creativity.\r\n\r\nSince receiving the pianos, my students and I have been using them to learn scales, chords, and melodies, and to accompany each other as we sing. One special moment I'll never forget was the very first time they all played together—when the music filled the room, their faces lit up with surprise and pride. For many of them, this was the first time they had ever sat at a piano, and the excitement was contagious.\r\n\r\nThe students' initial reaction was pure joy—there were smiles, laughter, and even applause for each other as they began experimenting with the keys. Several immediately asked if they could spend extra time practicing, which shows just how inspiring these instruments have been.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, our next project is learning to play simple songs as a class ensemble, layering melodies and harmonies to create full arrangements. We'll be focusing on proper technique, hand coordination, and eventually building towards a performance where students can showcase their new skills. Your donation has given us not only instruments, but also a pathway to teamwork, creativity, and confidence.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in our students and giving them this opportunity.
