They were so excited to see all the different pieces that came with the kit and how they can use them. They are able to express things without words that are difficult for them to talk about. It was particularly helpful for one student to show what is going on in his mind when he exhibits certain behaviors. This allowed us to work together to find coping skills he can use. \r\nWe will continue to use the sand tray and miniatures to help our students learn to express emotions in healthy ways.
