I would like to inform you that your donation was used to supply my students with fun speech-focused activities that have been enjoyed by ages 3 to 10. Thank you for your generosity and support, as this has also helped me with time management since most of the materials purchased were pre-made and ready to use. Your contribution has truly made a difference in the learning experience of my students, and I am grateful for your kindness. Your support has allowed me to focus more on teaching and engaging with my students, rather than spending time creating materials from scratch. My students have enjoyed opening and getting to use all these new materials. For my students with special needs, these sensory activities have been incredibly beneficial for their development and engagement in the classroom. I am also so grateful to have food toys because it lets my student also do more requesting, and they love cutting them up. For my food-themed days, my kids have done activities with crafts, sand, and imaginary play. They are always so excited and engaged during these themed days. These themed days have not only increased their motivation to participate in activities, but have also improved their social skills as they interact with one another during play. Overall, incorporating sensory activities and themed days has greatly enhanced the learning experience for all of my students. The variety of activities has also helped cater to different learning styles and interests, making the classroom environment more inclusive and engaging for all students. Additionally, these themed days have sparked creativity and imagination in my students, fostering a love for learning that goes beyond the typical classroom setting. \r\n\r\nThe next steps for my students involve incorporating these materials into our daily lessons and activities. We will be focusing on hands-on learning experiences that will engage all students and cater to their individual needs. Thank you again for making this possible for my classroom! I am excited to see the positive impact these themed days will have on my students' academic growth and development. By integrating these materials into our curriculum, I am confident that my students will continue to thrive and succeed in their learning journey.","fullyFundedDate":1733333065240,"projectUrl":"project/new-speech-therapist-supplies/8670417/","projectTitle":"New Speech Therapist Supplies","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Raquel Sanchez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9684888_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1723867522182","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9684888"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_25518","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":464,"numTeachers":44,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":17,"percentWhite":0,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":78,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"10.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":74.7,"schoolId":25518,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Carman - Buckner Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Carman - Buckner Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/illinois/waukegan-community-unit-school-district-60/carman-buckner-elementary-school/25518"}
