In this first month of our 26-27 school year, I have been able to see the impact of the books on my students. We have read about how to get our wiggles out, what we can do when we get frustrated to calm ourselves, and more about our emotions and how we are in control of them. It has not always been perfect, but we are a \"work in progress\" and are seeing growth. \r\nI have set up a calming corner in my classroom that students are able to utilize when they need a moment to stop and decompress. This corner contains the sensory bottles, fidgets, and the emotions plushies. There are a few challenges in my classroom this year, and we are all learning together how we can support each other.
