Over the past couple years, I've noticed the specific books that kids have been gravitating towards from the school or local library. With how much I have them independently read in class, I figured it would be worth it to try to get new books that they'd be interested in. Some of the picture books will be used for reading alouds and SEL activities. The chapter books and comic books have been added into my classroom library for students to access, too. The Goosebumps, Pug books and comic books have been a huge hit already this school year and (as I'm writing this) I'm 4 days into the school year so far. \r\nI truly can't express enough how grateful I am for the generous donations to my project. I created this project on a whim in hopes it would eventually get funded but not realizing the impact it would actually have.
