It not only helps me to enter grades quickly, but I can also pull up websites that the kids use and discuss with them what they need to work on, and how they are working hard to accomplish their goals. I really appreciate this Ipad!\r\n Several of the kids really needed the awesome headphones that you purchased! There are times that students are all working at their own levels on phonics skill. Headphones help them to concentrate on their specific skill, instead of paying attention to what their neighbor is doing.\r\n Snacks! Holy Moly! These kids are really enjoying having a snack during the week before lunch, or in the afternoon to help break up the day. I have had kids tell me that they are hungry because they haven't ate since lunch the day before. The cereal bars are great for helping these kiddos get through the morning. We are loving playing with the play dough and the creating projects with the construction paper and card stock. The magnetic boards made it easy for them to visualize concepts and collaborate.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, their faces lit up with enthusiasm. The fidgets and chair bands helped some students stay focused and engaged throughout the lessons, while the SEL books sparked meaningful conversations about emotions and teamwork.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, our next steps will be to integrate these tools into more lessons, especially focusing on social-emotional learning alongside academics. It did not disappoint! My class was very excited when the cabinet came in. Then the other items came in slowly. They were excited to see what we were receiving everyday since most things came in within a period of 10 days or so. They couldn't believe that we got donations from people whom we have never met. I reassured them that there are good people in this world who want to see them be successful! \r\n We have a period at the end of the day called \"Teacher's Choice\". Kids who have their work completed are allowed to work with items from the new STEM cabinet that you donated to us! Kids try hard to complete their work because they all want to play with these things. The Hex Bugs were included with your donations. The kids especially love exploring and creating new enclosures for the Hex Bugs. They also love the ease of getting out the 100 piece puzzles and competing against each other to see who can finish first. \r\n We will be using the clay after spring break to make models of the different lifecycle stages of a butterfly.
