We now use these books daily during independent reading time, partner reading, and small group lessons, and they've helped build both confidence and curiosity in our youngest learners.\r\n\r\nOne especially meaningful moment came during reading centers when a student who is typically hesitant about reading proudly chose a book on their own and asked to share it with a friend. Seeing students take ownership of their reading choices and use the library independently has been powerful. The students were so grateful and claiming that they were the luckiest class ever:)\r\n\r\nThe vision boards allowed them to express their ideas, goals, and interests. With the variety of supplies available, they were able to create whatever they imagined, making each vision board unique and personal. It was powerful and inspiring to see the students so engaged, confident, and proud of their work as they brought their ideas to life.\r\n\r\nNext, students will share their vision boards with their classmates and families. This will give them an opportunity to express themselves, build confidence, and celebrate their identity.
