We utilized the snacks from the donations mid morning, usually during story time. As the kids sat down to listen to a story they had a snack in hand. It worked out beautifully .\r\nKids were given a choice of variety of snacks, including beef sticks, fruit cups, chips, granola bars, and pop tarts.\r\nFood and storytime went together so well that I think that that's what we'll do next year as well. We averaged 24 kids we had as low as 15 and as many as 35 in a day. The kids from grades 1st through 6th had a great time using the Make do cardboard tools lots of creativity and lots of laughter They also enjoyed the painting supplies to decorate both the cardboard and for other projects. \r\n We did both math and reading challenges throughout the summer and ended the program with a field trip to a children's museum. We had 38 kids attend that.
