Your generosity has made a meaningful difference for our students and our classroom.\r\n\r\nOur original project was created to help fund color toner for our school laser printer. After the project was funded, our district made the decision to remove that printer from our building, but DonorsChoose graciously allowed us to redirect the funds toward something we greatly needed: copy paper. We are so thankful that your donation was still able to support our students in such a practical and important way.\r\n\r\nWe recently used the paper, along with colored ink, for a classroom project connected to our classroom rules. Students colored pictures illustrating our rules and also completed a digital coloring activity that we used to create a banner to display above them. The students enjoyed having the opportunity to be creative while also reinforcing the expectations that help make our classroom a positive place to learn. We look forward to sharing photos of their finished work!\r\n\r\nHaving help with basic supplies such as ink and copy paper means more than you might realize. Teachers have access to wonderful learning resources through sites such as Teachers Pay Teachers, where we can find engaging activities that help students practice important skills in fun and meaningful ways. However, using those resources often requires a great deal of paper and ink. When donors help provide these everyday supplies, it also allows more of our school budget to be used for other important needs, including books for our classroom libraries.\r\n\r\nThank you again for giving to our school and investing in our students.
