With the new rug, students now have a comfortable area in the room where they can sit and relax while reading. The area has allowed students to find joy in reading books and foster their love of reading. The easel has allowed me to have another space to write when we are using the projector already. It also allows us the create permanent anchor charts to guide student thinking and learning. \r\n\r\nWhen the students saw the new rug and easel they were very surprised and excited. They all instantly wanted to go read on the rug.
