Both the kids as well as the staff were very excited about the decorations added to the classroom. They completely transformed the classroom from a very dull and bland white space to a warm and colorful area where students feel comfortable in participating and sharing their experiences. Because we started off with nothing, everything that was donated has been used to its full potential and has impacted our students. \r\n\r\nAmong the items donated, the favorites have been the carpet, the floor cushions, the fluorescent light covers, and the inflatable bean bag chairs. The furniture has assisted in creating a cozy corner in the classroom which facilitators have used for discussion within our social-emotional groups.
