Students are using them daily to build vocabulary, check spelling, and grow more independent as readers and writers. One of the most exciting areas of growth has been our work with homophones. Students love discovering words that sound the same but have different meanings, and they are now using their dictionaries to confirm meanings and apply the correct word in their writing.\r\nWe have also seen great progress in paragraph writing. With their dictionaries in hand, students feel more confident expanding their ideas, choosing precise words, and editing their work. They are taking pride in writing complete, thoughtful paragraphs and are eager to share their work with classmates. It has been incredible to watch their confidence grow as they use these tools to support their learning.\r\nYour support has truly made a difference in our classroom.
