White watching American Born Chinese on DisneyPlus, the students created paper dragons, and built Lego sets with Chinese New Year themes. The books we were able to acquire with the help of this grant were added to our circulation library where over 400 students will now have access to them. We absolutely cannot keep them on the shelves. As soon as one is returned, a student is literally in line pointing and saying, \"I want that!\" \r\n\r\nThank you again. In fact, they are flying off of the shelves. As fast as one student returns a book, another student is waiting to check it out. This is especially noticeable in our After School Book Club. We have a manga/anime focus and many students come to read the new editions. In fact, our book club has been growing every day as word spreads about our new manga/anime collection. We also supplement the reading with watching anime. So far, students have loved reading Blue Lock and watching the anime series and making comparisons.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw these fresh books they were enthusiastic. They couldn't wait to get their hands on them.
