Your generosity is going to make such a meaningful impact on my students and the creative opportunities available to them next school year. Even before using it, students have already been excited to hear about the new tool that will allow them to safely cut cardboard tubes, dowels, straws, and other construction materials for their artwork.\r\n\r\nAs I introduced the Chomp Saw to students and explained how we will use it in our sculpture and choice-based art centers next year, they immediately began brainstorming ideas. Students were especially excited about being able to build more detailed 3D sculptures and create projects using materials that previously were difficult to cut safely and neatly in the classroom. Many students started talking about inventions, creatures, buildings, and imaginative sculptures they hope to create once they are able to use the new tool.\r\n\r\nNext year, the Chomp Saw will become an important part of our sculpture based art experiences. My students will use it during open studio work to problem-solve, experiment, and bring their ideas to life in new ways. Having access to real art-making tools helps students feel trusted, capable, and inspired to take creative risks. Thank you again for investing in my students and helping create an art room where creativity, innovation, and confidence can continue to grow.","fullyFundedDate":1778029539949,"projectUrl":"project/chomp-cut-create/10078704/","projectTitle":"Chomp, Cut, Create!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Frederick","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3243904_orig.png?crop=271,271,x105,y138&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1716216761037","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3243904"},{"teacherId":7888969,"projectId":9305743,"letterContent":"This project has been one of my absolute favorites. We take 20 minutes at the end of everyday for community meeting, and each week we pick a \"word of the week\" which is a character trait that we are trying to reinforce. The books you have donated help the students see the words in action and gives them ideas of how to embody the words in real life. Strong character is something that must be taught, and I am so grateful that we've made time in our day to make it a priority. I'm even more grateful that you believe it is a priority, too.
