The rug was here before school started and has made our \"living room\" area so comfy. The students all want to sit in this area. The carpet is such good quality that students like to sit or lay on it while doing their work. Since everyone wants to sit in this area, students have to take turns. They are only allowed in the \"living room\" once a day. That's how popular it is! \r\n\r\nThis year, my guided reading groups are challenged to read one chapter book a month. Every Friday, a parent comes in and leads book talk about their assigned books. I have notice some of my parents try to snag up this cozy area for their book talks.
