The file folder organizers have been especially helpful in keeping assignments and materials organized, and I know they will be extremely beneficial on days when I have a substitute teacher. The new chairs have replaced some older chairs that I used when working one-on-one with students, and they have made those interactions much more comfortable while also giving the classroom a cleaner, updated look. The light covers have helped soften the harsh fluorescent lighting and create a more comfortable atmosphere. And I absolutely love the new adjustable desk!\r\n\r\nMy students immediately noticed the changes when they first saw the new materials. They were excited about the updated look of the classroom, and the changes have helped make the room feel more welcoming and comfortable.\r\n\r\nThanks to the donations and a grant, I was also able to put money toward other items that have helped make my classroom feel more like a home. There is still more I would like to do, and I need some additional time to finish everything I have in mind. My next steps are to add pictures of my wife and daughter and create a word wall that students can use throughout the year.
