As a teacher working with newcomer students, I see firsthand how tough it can be for them to adjust to a new school, a new country, and a new language all at the same time. The Care Closet has been a game-changer for so many of them, and it's all thanks to you.\r\nMany of my students come from families who are struggling to make ends meet. Some arrive at school without basic necessities—things like shampoo, deodorant, warm clothing, and snacks. These might seem like small things, but to my students, they mean the world. Students no longer have to come to school worried about non academic needs. That is because of you!\r\nBeyond just meeting their needs, the Care Closet has created a sense of community and belonging. My students know that there are people—people like you—who care about them and want to see them succeed. That's powerful.
