We are so grateful for the resources provided. Recently, we had an activity where students needed to use books to expand there social emotional term background. My students were researching terms I gave them and they had to remember these definitions for the next SEL activity. To see them converse and read was amazing. These kids shared what they learned and described how they never really had these types of experiences. \r\n\r\nThese meaningful experiences would not have happened without the books you provided. Yes I could have had them research the terms but providing the books has brought them real life stories and given students clear interpretations for social emotional expressions. They were elated to share their models using the centimeter interlocking cubes to reflect the area. The novels have allowed the students to have access to a classroom library that has helped increased their ability to check out books but also intrigued them to do so. My students have even selected a book for me to read to them as a whole during the first five minutes of class as a \"DO NOW\".
