I like to look for engaging activities that reinforce what we are learning in class. \r\n\r\nThe Band-Aids are an essential part in every classroom. Every little scrape or paper cut is a big deal with the little ones. They love the attention and it saves a trip to the nurse's office.\r\n\r\nFinally, the fruit gummies have provided a yummy snack on Friday afternoons. They were greeted with new materials for their sports teams. The ball cart is an essential part of practice. The students move balls in and out, and are collected to keep track of at the end of practice.\r\n My students couldn't believe the Adidas Knee pads. Their practices started last week, and games will begin soon. They will be well equiped with the knee pads. Many of my students do not have knee pads, and they always end up with scraped knees. My student athletes were so excited to see them.\r\n My students will have practice jerseys and new basketballs this year. They were already trying to check out the sizes to see which ones fit best. You could hear the oohs and aahs as they discovered the basketballs too.\r\n Student athletes, even in my elementary school, must maintain good grades, have no discilpinary issues, and be a good example to others.
