My students were incredibly excited when they first saw the new materials. For my diverse learners in Kindergarten through 3rd grade, having colorful, hands-on resources makes learning more engaging and meaningful. The Cricut tools are helping us create visual learning materials, STEM project pieces, labels, shapes, letters, and other hands-on resources that allow students to learn by seeing, touching, creating, and doing.\r\n\r\nThese materials have added something special to our STEM activities. My students are able to design, build, decorate, and proudly share their creations while practicing important skills in reading, math, science, fine-motor development, communication, and teamwork. It is especially rewarding to see students who sometimes find traditional classroom activities challenging become excited and confident when they are given an opportunity to create something with their own hands.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue using these resources in meaningful STEM challenges and cross-curricular projects throughout the school year.
