Sitting or standing and moving closer to other groups and to the presentation. The freedom to choose has made the space more welcoming to all students. Students who often find traditional desks and chairs uncomfortable appreciated having the option to use standing desks. I'm grateful this alternative is available, as it helps create a more accommodating and supportive learning environment. \r\n\r\nBoth students and I used the desk in multiple ways. The standing desks were used as a podium for speeches and debates. They've allowed me to quickly rearrange the classroom for multiple activities in one class session too.
