Having their own brand-new supplies gave them an immediate boost of confidence and pride, making them eager to jump right into our math lessons.\r\n\r\nThese resources have immediately transformed our daily routine, especially during our 8th-grade geometry unit on rigid transformations. Using the dry-erase markers on our individual whiteboards, students drew coordinate planes to perform translations, reflections, and rotations. The dry-erase markers are crucial because they allow students to quickly sketch out their movements, correct errors effortlessly, and hold up their boards to share their mathematical thinking with their peers.
