Because of your contributions, we were able to bring essential social-emotional tools into our classroom, including fidgets, stress balls, and anxiety journals. These resources have already made a meaningful impact on our students' daily routines. \r\n\r\nFrom the moment they saw the materials, their reactions were priceless—some immediately grabbed stress balls and fidgets to help them focus, while others eagerly opened their journals, expressing excitement about having a space to reflect and process their thoughts. Right away, students began using the tools in helpful ways. While typing an essay, one student uses a fidget to help with focus. While engaging in a mediation with a peer, another student utilized the weighted stuffed animal to help her keep calm.\r\n\r\nWe're using these resources in multiple ways. In the classroom, students can access fidgets and stress tools to help with focus and self-regulation. In smaller social work sessions, the journals have become a valuable tool for students working through anxiety and personal challenges. Additionally, our school's autism group is benefiting from these supports as they help students with socialization and emotional regulation. \r\n\r\nMoving forward, we're incorporating these materials into structured lessons on self-awareness, coping strategies, and communication skills. These tools don't just help in the moment—they're building lifelong skills for managing stress and emotions.
