As soon as the book storage envelopes arrived, my students were excited to start using them. Each child received an envelope with their name on it. The envelopes take up 1/3 less space than the book bins we previously used, allowing us to expand our library and offer a wider variety of books to meet the needs of our mixed-age learners.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting moments was when my students saw all the chapter books I added to our library after I visited a local book warehouse. They were especially excited to see all the new Judy Moody and Stink books since we have been reading a Judy Moody book as a class. The improved organization has also helped foster a sense of ownership over the library, with more students bringing up library upkeep during class announcements and discussions.\r\n\r\nNext, we plan to continue expanding our library with even more engaging books. With the extra space we've gained, I can now introduce more series and high-interest texts that will challenge and inspire my students.
