This was a sport that my students had never participated in before, and they thoroughly enjoyed it. During this unit, my students participated in doubles Badminton. Working with a partner reinforced the importance of teamwork and effective communication between the students. At first, my students thought this sport was going to be so hard because they had never played it before and didn't know what a shuttle/birdie was. They caught on quickly, and I had kids talking about Badminton before we even started the unit in their class. Your donations have allowed my students the ability to immerse themselves in new types of sports and activities that they weren't able to before. This unit is already a school favorite, and I can't wait to see students' growth this year during our Badminton unit.
