I am soooooo happy with my comfy and multi-purpose chair. I can \"wheel\" everywhere super fast! The students get a kick out of it. I am so thrilled that I have a few things honoring Teacher Appreciation week. I am in my classrooms long hours and to have a few comforts of home helps my day go by smoothly. \r\n\r\nLastly, the students and I are always so grateful when we ask for things to add to our classroom and receive them. Research has shown that a comfortable temperature can significantly enhance cognitive function and productivity—something I've seen firsthand as students are now better able to concentrate and participate actively in lessons.\r\n\r\nIn addition, the AC unit helps us maintain a healthier classroom by improving air circulation and reducing the spread of germs, especially during cold and flu season. With a shortage of cleaning staff and limited resources at our school, maintaining a clean and healthy learning environment has been a daily challenge. Most days, my students and I take on the responsibility of cleaning our space, but we've lacked the proper supplies to do it well—until now.\r\n\r\nThanks to you, our classroom will not only be cleaner, but also a more welcoming and focused space for learning. Cleanliness plays a huge role in shaping student behavior and attitudes. When students walk into a room that is organized and cared for, they begin to take pride in their environment and themselves. Your donation is helping to build those lifelong habits and values.\r\n\r\nWe are truly grateful for your generosity and the difference you're making in our day-to-day lives. Your contributions brought such joy and excitement to our classroom and made a big difference in how my students are able to engage and learn each day.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the room buzzed with curiosity and energy. The students were immediately drawn to the colorful fidgets, and their eyes lit up as I explained how these tools were going to help them stay focused during independent work and small group activities. One student said, \"It's like these were made just for me!\" and in a way, they really were.\r\n\r\nWe've been using the fidgets to support attention and self-regulation during reading centers and math rotations. The incentives have become a key part of our classroom behavior and effort system. Just last week, we wrapped up a group writing project where students earned points for teamwork and staying on task, culminating in a celebration they were incredibly proud of earning themselves.\r\n\r\nThanks to you, my students are not only more focused but also more motivated. One specific moment that stood out was during a particularly challenging math activity. A student who often struggles with attention used a new sensory ring to stay calm and focused, completing the task independently for the first time all year. That moment was priceless.\r\n\r\nRight now, we're diving into a unit on ecosystems. Students are using their incentive points to \"purchase\" materials for mini habitat models. This adds a fun, real-world connection to budgeting and planning and keeps them invested in both science and self-management skills.\r\n\r\nYour donation gave my students more than supplies. It gave them tools to thrive. I think this was a great addition to our classroom. With so many years of Teaching, buying things, supplies, books, the classroom ( as you can imagine) becomes cluttered. I really do my best to have a clean, cheerful, print rich environment. The storage containers look so good and can hold all our STUFF for learning. When students need crayons, coloring pencils, glue sticks, supplies, we can go right to it to get what we need. It has kept me more organized as well.\r\n\r\nNow, this is a funny story......who has to replace the computer mouse and HDMI cord every few months? ME!!!
