Warm Greetings from the Windy City!I have the privilege of teaching 60 vibrant 5th and 6th graders. Our classroom community is diverse including a population of English Language Learners who bring a rich variety of perspectives to our daily lessons. My students are energetic, curious, and eager to broaden their horizons through reading, collaboration, and hands-on learning. As inner-city students, they bring incredible resilience and bright potential to our school every single day. My goal as their reading teacher is to help these amazing children realize the impact they make. They are already learning how to create positive impressions in their neighborhoods, in Chicago, in Illinois, in the USA, and in the world!
