Your kindness and generosity have supported two causes that are near and dear to my heart: fostering a love of reading in young people and providing resources to kids who may not otherwise receive them. The ability to choose a brand new book to read and keep is not one that should be taken for granted, and I can guarantee that all of my students will be very appreciative of the opportunity--thanks to you.\r\n\r\nI was fortunate to have received a few donations recently from parents whose kids were aging out of the books they read as children. But all of these books were in English, and the vast majority of my students speak Spanish. With your help, I was able to basically restock my supply of Spanish and bilingual titles for my daily book giveaways. As you may remember from the project description, the idea is simple: every time a student returns their library book when their class visits the library each week, I type their name into a spinning wheel randomizer. The Wheel of Good Fortune selects a winner, and that student chooses a book to take home. With the influx of inventory from this project, I should have enough to last me the rest of the year.\r\n\r\nOur school year just started, and classes are visiting me for the first time this week; our Donors Choose haul is the first thing I'm going to show them. Thanks again and again for bringing joy to this humble librarian and my deserving students.","fullyFundedDate":1779985377881,"projectUrl":"project/the-wheel-of-good-fortune-needs-books/10298173/","projectTitle":"The Wheel of Good Fortune Needs Books!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Hatcher","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10515383_orig.jpg?crop=339,338,x0,y25&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1779212025994","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10515383"},{"teacherId":9405454,"projectId":9985650,"letterContent":"We are incredibly grateful to you, for being a part of providing shoes for our cheerleading team. Your kindness removed one of those barriers and allowed our cheerleaders to feel prepared, included, and proud to represent their school. .\r\n\r\nBeyond the physical support, your donation greatly boosted our students' self-confidence. Wearing proper cheer shoes made them feel like a true team, helping them stand taller, perform with pride, and believe in themselves. It showed them that there are people who care about their success and are willing to invest in their future.
