They are fun enough that my students want to read them, but they also match the phonics skills we are working on in class. That is exactly what I was hoping for.\r\n\r\nI have already noticed students using the phonics patterns from our lessons when they read these books. The books feel manageable for them, and that matters. When a book feels too hard, some students shut down quickly. When it feels doable, they are much more willing to keep trying.\r\n\r\nReading growth takes time, but these books are giving my students practice with the skills they need in a way that feels more successful and enjoyable. That is important for my 2nd graders as they keep building confidence as readers.\r\n\r\nThank you again for supporting my classroom.
