We have been able to use the exercise equipment and room organizers to help elevate our dancers. The hooks on the wall give our dancers more floor space to use in our small studio. They are able to hold their heavy backpack and are holding up great! \r\n\r\nWe have used our exercise equipment multiple times and it is being implemented in to a daily workout for our dancers. The sliding discs are a great training tool for strength and stability and the ankle weights are currently being used to help train for their Pom routine. \r\n\r\nThe dancers love the new equipment and they were so excited to add something different and new to their morning practices. We are currently training for our State Champions and also for our Nationals competition next month. Thank you so much for your support! I am always so surprised at how many students need basic school supplies for schools--notebooks and pencils. At our school, most classes require students to have a composition notebook, so most students need 5 or 6 composition notebooks. Sometimes students can't afford the notebooks, or sometimes there is a transportation barrier making it difficult for students to get to the store to purchase notebooks. \r\n\r\nIn my office, the Career Center, I keep a tower that holds notebooks that anyone to use. It's such a relief for students to be able to come in and grab what they need. Teachers can also get notebooks for students to use. Not only does it save the student money, but it also prevents them from falling behind in their classes and in their grades. Many classes have weekly \"notebook checks\" where teachers look through notebooks to ensure that students are taking notes. This \"notebook check\" is graded, so students without notebooks are penalized. Having access to free notebooks makes it easy for students to remember what they learned in classes and also keep their grades up. Thank you so much for donating to our school.
