Using a computer mouse may seem like a small thing, but for many of my students, it makes a huge difference. The ISAT requires students to drag, click, highlight text, navigate multiple screens, and work through multi‑step problems under timed pressure. For young learners with developing fine‑motor skills, completing these tasks on a laptop trackpad can be frustrating and discouraging.\r\nHaving individual computer mice will give my students the tools they need to show what they know, without technology getting in the way. With mice, they will work more confidently during practice activities, focus on critical thinking instead of struggling with controls, and build the digital skills expected of them on the state assessment.\r\nYour support helps create a smoother, more equitable testing experience, especially for students who do not have access to this technology at home.
