I used the gumball machine to fill it with fun prizes for the kids. \r\n\r\nDuring my \"Read Across America\" week, I held a Dr. Seuss celebration. Students who completed the game challenges were able to win a prize from the machine. Knowing that they could possibly win a prize, they tried a little harder to win the game.\r\n\r\nDuring \"Read Across America\" week, I had classes come into the library, and I used the prizes from the gumball machine to incentivize students to stand up in front of their class and read a Dr. Seuss book to them. \r\n\r\n\"Love Your Library\" was in February. I used the gumball machine with the prizes in it to motivate students to come into the library and fill out a heart on what they love about the library.
