In our present society, many children do not understand the amount of time and work that growing our own food takes, let alone to be able to understand the materials needed for the process. Because of this, many students often have a difficult time grasping the life cycle of a plant and the yields that can take place throughout a singular plant cycle. \r\nWith your generous donations, I am able to give the students in my classroom, first hand experiences of curricular elements that they otherwise may only read about. With this project, students are co ducting hands on learning, making real life connections and growing their own foods.
