I can't wait to help them learn about the benefits of using them as an alternative to plastic while shopping! Kids always love all of the many Earth day activities! When you are a second grader who is working hard on learning how to do double digit addition and subtraction, as well as working on your new reading skills, it can put a lot of strain on the brain. Being able to have the opportunity to go to our new snack station and grab a snack really puts a smile on their faces. It's nice that they are able to take a small break and let all of our new learning sink in while getting a bite to eat. My students really love to create anything and everything with the air dry clay too.
