My students were thrilled when the boxes starting coming in! When we opened them together they were so happy to see some \"brain fuel\" in the boxes, as well as a new snack cart. When you are a second grader who is working hard on learning how to do double digit addition and subtraction, as well as working on your new reading skills, it can put a lot of strain on the brain. Being able to have the opportunity to go to our new snack station and grab a snack really puts a smile on their faces. It's nice that they are able to take a small break and let all of our new learning sink in while getting a bite to eat. My students really love to create anything and everything with the air dry clay too.
