Each item has already brought so much joy, creativity, and teamwork to our classroom and after-school programs.\r\n\r\nThe Yamaha guitar and accessories have sparked new interest in music. Several students have started learning chords during lunchtime, and we've even had a few impromptu jam sessions that filled the halls with music and laughter. \r\n\r\nOur basketballs and whistles have made recess more organized and fun, giving students more ways to stay active, practice sportsmanship, and build leadership skills. And the giant Jenga has quickly become a favorite team-building activity—helping students learn strategy, communication, and balance (both physical and emotional!).\r\n\r\nThese resources have truly made our learning environment more engaging, creative, and connected. During math, students sit on the perimeter of the carpet and practice writing numbers 0-20. It is an ongoing process as we are still in the wiping noses part for most. However, some children are actually blowing their noses! They are so excited when they are able to wipe/blow their noses independently!\r\n\r\nThe baby wipes have been crucial to creating a healthy environment too. With seven children who are in the process of learning how to use the bathroom, the wipes have been instrumental in keeping our littles clean. We also have a child with a medical condition that makes potty training not possible. The wipes have been extremely helpful as we need to change her diapers on an hourly basis. \r\n\r\nWe have not received the hand sanitizer yet. But, Donors Choose is working closely with us to procure the sanitizers. With only two bathrooms in our class and seven children that need potty training, the sanitizers will be used to alleviate the wait time for children who only need to clean their hands.
