This not only encourages hard work and good choices but also provides a much-needed energy boost to keep them focused throughout the day. These items are more than just food; they are an essential tool for maintaining energy and focus, directly translating into better learning outcomes.\r\n\r\nBefore the snacks arrived, I frequently saw students drifting off or becoming irritable around mid-morning or mid-afternoon. Now, when a student shows those signs of fatigue or distraction, a small, quick snack like a cereal bar or pretzel sandwich is offered. After a quick \"fuel-up,\" their eyes brighten, their heads lift, and they can immediately refocus on the lesson. The classroom energy stays higher, and the quality of participation is much better. I've noticed a significant reduction in disruptions caused by low energy and poor concentration.\r\n\r\nFor some of my students, knowing these snacks are available is a source of genuine comfort and security. For students who were shy or spoke quietly, this gave them a chance to find their voice and build confidence in a way that felt safe and supported. It also brought new energy to our podcast and digital media projects, making them feel more exciting and real.\r\n\r\nThe wireless mic helped me teach without having to constantly raise my voice or repeat instructions. In a classroom where students were often moving around and working in small groups, having that kind of clarity made a huge impact. It was so wonderful to see the joy in their eyes as they got new things to purchase, and it was all earned through their hard work and good behavior.\r\n\r\nAlso, being that my students come from a big family, there were some of them that just could not bring a snack from home to eat during their first recess. So the snacks that you provided were perfect to last throughout the last quarter of the school year. My students, especially those that did not bring on a daily basis, were so happy...and I was too because I was spending my own money to purchase snacks for my students throughout the school year (which I didn't mind as well, but it sure was nice to spend my hard earned money on myself too).\r\n\r\nAs for the easy reader books, I was able to work with a small group of my students and rotate the groups as we read aloud. However, I did not let any of them take any books home for the summer to read because we will continue small group reading this upcoming school year. \r\n\r\nSeeing my students eyes light up with joy makes my eyes water from time to time.
