They have reading, writing, math and science assessments all taking several hours. For many students, the difference between passing the assessment or not is purely a function of effort. A positive message, a motivational note, or even just knowing someone believes in them can make all the difference. Getting a motivational bracelet or pencil can remind them to keep trying when the assessment is difficult or they get tired.\r\n\r\nAnother motivating factor is knowing there is a relaxing and rewarding snack to replenish all the energy they used.
