My students coming from a leeward coast school on an island in the pacific, my students thrive to do well in school. They love technology and tinkering within maker spaces. Most of the students that attend my school are on free and reduced-price lunch. Many of my students DO NOT have the opportunities to experience life outside of the community. My students love hands on activities and exploration. They use technology to improve writing and research skills. We invest in creating student lead projects and ideas in our class. Exploration of space, ideas and activities allow for our students to grow into future leaders. We encourage classroom collaboration and conversation among peers.
