Also when students do their presentations, they are able to have the professional touch with the presenter clicker. \r\n\r\nThe standing table is the best because we have buddy activities with a 2nd grade class and it can get crowded in the classroom, so having a table set up outside where the students can get together, creates more space to have fun together. So, when the materials arrived, they were very happy to begin this project. \r\n\r\nThe students had selected floral or succulent Lego pieces that they wanted to build. I put them into groups according to others that had the same project so they could work with each other to build them. The students are in various processes for completing their Lego projects. Some students were able to finish their Lego projects and make multiple of them. Others are still in the process of building their first ones. Regardless, students are having fun problem-solving and building with Legos! \r\n\r\nThe next steps for this project are to have the students complete their Lego projects and share it with their families. Many students shared that they were excited to finally get to create their first Lego pieces, while others were excited to help others build theirs. Some students were able to finish a wrist or ankle haku. Others are still in the process of building. Regardless, students have learned the process and are building their hakus! \r\n\r\nThe next steps for this project are to have the students complete their hakus and share it with their families. Many students shared that they are excited to use their knowledge of haku making to create hakus for their loved ones on various events such as graduations and birthdays!
