By pairing these kits with iPad technology, students can capture their experiments by slowing down time to analyze chemical reactions or physical changes that happen in the blink of an eye. If they did not have these technological advances these observations may have been missed the first time around. This ability to record and review multiple times allows them to catch minute details the naked eye would miss, leading to deeper, more accurate conclusions. Beyond the data, they are learning the art of perspective by discovering how different camera angles reveal new scientific insights, which in turn may change their conclusion about what is occurring in their experiment. A student noticed that their group missed an important event within the chemical reaction because the camera frame did not catch the whole beaker. They asked to conduct their experiment one more time to ensure that they documented the chemical reaction properly. \r\n\r\nSince we received the materials and technology towards the end of the school year the students were excited to have a leading role in their learning.
