As an SLP, I try to keep therapy sessions motivating and fun and at the same time, facilitate progress in their individual communication objectives. The addition of books, therapy material and games have had a positive impact, as every student has definitely noticed new material :) Each student has enjoyed the books so much!\r\n\r\nI had two students in particular in mind when requesting the standup desk. The two boys in the 2nd grade have a tremendous amount of energy, even at the end of the day! The standup desk has helped a great deal and has curbed their high energy so they can focus on the tasks presented to them. \r\n\r\nIt was my first time participating in Donor's Choose and I am in awe of the generosity in the community for those of us in education. Please know that your contributions has had a positive impact for all of us.
